What’s In My Bag: Festival Edition

simplehuman Sensor Mirror Compact: Even if you opted to wait in line at the porta-potties, they don’t have mirrors! It’s best to just bring a small mirror to help you keep your makeup and hair on point. This sensor mirror is compact, has a handle for easy holding, 3x magnification, and a light that will give you a dose of reality (aka what you really look like) since it reflects natural looking light. I even tested it as a beauty light and can confirm it will make all your selfies flawless! And don’t stress, it’s rechargeable so you can use it worry-free during festival season.

-Neutral Lip Gloss: You might be tempted to do a bold lip, but if you’re anything like me touch-ups will be rate. Sticking to something neutral will be low-maintenance, especially in the heat. I’m loving the Too Faced Sweet Peach lipgloss in Papa Don’t Preach.

-Cooling Setting Spray: This one by Supergoop is a two-in-one because it’s a setting spray AND SPF. Also, I love this one in particular since it has a minty feel to it so you’ll instantly feel refreshed.

-Sunscreen Primer: Trust me, you can’t have enough sunscreen during music festivals. The sun is blazing so you’ll definitely want to keep protected. This Supergoop primer is super sheer so it won’t interfere with your makeup, which is something I really love.

Hydrating Lip Balm: We all know I have a lip balm addiction, so in the desert I always have a few extra on hand just in case. This agave lip balm by Bite will be your lip’s BFF during festival season.

Eyelash Curler: As you can imagine, the days can be long at the festivals, so to pep up your look just give your lashes a little curl to bring them back to life. Just be careful if you have mascara on!

-Eyebrow Brush: I use my eyebrow brush than I do my hair brush! Seriously, my brown need to be combed up at ALL times. No excuses. I always have one of these babies in my handbag for quick touch-ups throughout the day.

-Portable Phone Charger: Need I remind you the time I was leaving the festival and my phone was dead and I needed an Uber???? Not fun. BRING ONE & make sure to fully charge it ahead of time, obviously.

-Sunnies: These are my signature, everyday, sunglasses that I just can’t quite. You’ll probably see me in them when I’m 70 years old. As much as I try to be fun about my sunglass choices, I always come back to my good ole Ray-Bans.
