Summer Boho Makeup

My summer makeup vibe is definitely different than the rest of the year. I prefer a light, glowing (duh!), slightly peachy, and bronzy look. Not picky at all…The key is also to keep it simple and low maintenance. After all, I spend a lot of time at the beach and pool during the summer so I like to keep my look appropriate for the day and have it translate well for the evening, too. BY TERRY released their Hippy Chic Summer Make Up Collection and let me tell you, you won’t need much else!

For the makeup look you’re seeing in these pictures, I used the following:

BY TERRY Sun Designer Palette (6-Happy Sun): I swiped the matte side of the palette to create a nice bronzy base on my cheeks, then used the shimmery side to highlight under my eyes, down my nose, cupid’s bow, and a little on the chin. When the sun catches that highlight you will look quite literally sun-kissed.

BY TERRY Twist-On Lip in Peach & Tangerine: This twist lipstick contours and volumizes your lips with the dual color combination in each stick. I picked a more vibrant duo since I wanted to compliment my beachy look and it’s just light enough to give you a hint of color without being too overpowering for a day in the sun.
