MY TOP WEDDING Registry Items

This has been a highly requested blog post for years so I’m excited to finally get it live. TBH, it was overwhelming beacuse if you’ve ever created a registry, you know there’s a lot to think about, and it’s been a decade since my wedding. It’s also situational depending on if you live together before getting married, your lifestyle, how often you cook, etc.

With all that in mind, I tried to stick to the “basics” of kitchen stuff and entertaining items that most couples need & use often. There are also several investment pieces that are nice to add for family or friends who want to spoil you.

See my recommendations below as a starting point resource and then figure out what makes the most sense for your life. And CONGRATS if you are currently creating your own registry and getting married soon!!

By the way, I have most of my life essentials on my Amazon Storefront and on the blog if you want more details on bedding, furniture – all that.

COOKING / KITCHEN

+ Air fryer – the one I have was discontinued but seems like there are tons of good ones. We use this almost daily.
+ All-clad pots & pans – If you take care of these and cook slowly, they’ll last a lifetime.
+ Hexclad pan set – My go-to non-stick set. If you’re in between these and All clad, I break down the review of each here.
+ Cast iron skillet
+ Dutch oven
+ Kitchen Aid mixer – A registry staple. You’ll have it for life and the quality is amazing.
+ Splatter screen – A cooking staple! We use for eggs, bacon, etc. and especially good with the kids around.
+ Casserole dish
+ Cheese grater – One of the few kitchen gadgets I’ll gladly make space for, especially if you cook / eat cheese often. Once you use this, you’ll never be able to buy pre-shredded cheese again because this makes fresh cheese taste incredible. Plus, pre-shredded tends to be filled with chemicals and shit.
+ Salad spinner – I also use this to dry / clean produce.
+ Immersion blender – Only a staple if you cook often, I’d say.
+ Baking bowl set
+ Bakeware set
+ Baking mat – Trust me on these and add them to your registry. They make clean up easier and you can skip a lot of the non-stick product.
+ Measuring cups and spoons
+ Prep knife set
+ Toaster
+ Cutting boards – I am passionate about this brand’s cutting boards. They’re BPA free, recycled, and easy to clean.
+ Flatware set
+ Serving set
+ Steak knife set
+ Serving bowl – One of my favorite brands for serving dishes.
+ Serving platter
+ Berry bowl
+ Dinnerware set – I’d register for 10-12 depending on how often you host & cook.

COOKING ACCESSORIES

+ Stainless spatula
+ Herb scissors
+ Cooking skimmer
+ Stainless steel scooper – One of the most underrated cooking accessories. This is a must.
+ Soup ladle
+ Meat thermometer
+ Spice mill – I always get questions about this when I post on Stories and I’ll never go back to anything else. I personally use it for Maldon salt. I also have this for pepper if you want a mill as more of a decor piece.
+ Lemon squeezer
+ Salt & pepper shaker set
+ Oil pourer
+ Cooking utensil holder
+ Spoon rest

DRINK

+ Nepresso coffee machine – We use this for both and cold coffee drinks – have used for years.
+ De’Longhi espresso & coffee machine – This was confusing for me (I use the Nespresso) but Paul loves it. Probably more for the boujee coffee person.
+ Ice maker machine – This is perfect for a registry since it’s $$$. No ice compares after this, especially for matcha, iced coffee, and crunching.
+ Frother
+ Blender – Paul and I have very different versions of what a good smoothie is, so I like this smaller blender. If you make things as a couple, you might want something larger.
+ Electric juicer – I use this for lemonade, limes for margaritas, etc.
+ Wine glasses (also love these)
+ Drinking glasses
+ Iced coffee glasses

ENTERTAINING / RANDOM

+ Electric wine opener
+ Cheese knife set
+ Paper towel holder
+ Recipe book – I use mine daily and store all my recipes in it.
+ Cookbook holder
+ Bread boards – I personally love when people have a few items like this on their registry because they’re fun to source. Etsy and vintage are also a good find for these.
