PINK + GREEN - Sivan

Topshop palm leaf jumpsuit

I tend to be an extremist in my fashion choices. I definitely lack consistency but when I commit to a look I go all the way. For instance, when I’m feeling more tomboy / homeless I rock my baggy boyfriend jeans, a bra that does nothing for my chest, and probably a shapeless thank. To top it off I’ll wear flip-flops, which makes me look extra stumpy in my distressed jeans and 5’3″ body. On those days I’m usually running from errand to errand most likely avoiding all human kind. Then there are days I’m a bohemian princess draped in yards of paisley fabric and tassels hanging from my wrists. On those days I’m probably on vacation or just getting back from vacation. THEN, there is the rest of the time when I’m just plain confused about what I like and typically end up looking a little masculine. I really, and I mean really, enjoy boxy clothing–trousers, jumpsuits, tanks, overalls.

I have to give myself credit, though, because while I am an extremist who takes some looks a little too far, I do balance it. I’ll make a point to have my hair done and my “everyday makeup” on to ensure I don’t look too masculine. I may even throw in a nice shoe or bag, too. If you feel like my thoughts are all over the place and make no sense then you totally get it! That’s pretty much what goes through my head as I get dressed–a bunch of nonsense!

Basically what I am telling you is that I love this jumpsuit and would wear it pretty much everyday if it wasn’t such a loud print that everyone would notice instantly. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge repeat offender on pieces of clothing I love, but this one is taking it to another level. The fit is relaxed, the print is fun and colorful, and the length gives me the option to rock a little heel or cuff it with a flat (which you’ll never catch me in!).
