WATERMELON MINT Tajin Margarita

Summer is officially here! I feel like I wait all year for this season because it means permanent tans, rosé without guilt, and easy outfit choices. And of course, cocktails for absolutely NO reason! I had to make that part clear since I invited my friend and lifestyle blogger Devon Rachel over on a Tuesday for some margaritas. Then again, Devon is probably the only girl I know that would be down for some impromptu cocktailing (knew I liked her for a reason!).

With temps already hitting triple digits here in the Valley, a refreshing, COLD drink is actually pretty necessary. Nothing sounds more refreshing to me than watermelon, cucumber, and mint. Am I right? So why not add a little tequila, line that rim with some tajin or salt and there you go!
Watermelon Mint Tajin Margarita
- + 2 oz tequila
- + 1/2 oz Cointreau
- + 1 cup watermelon cubes
- + 4″ cucumber, peeled
- + 1 lime, juiced
- + fresh mint
- + Margarita salt or Tajin
- + ice
- Place watermelon, cucumber, & lime juice into a blender. Blend well.
- Line your margarita glass with lime & your choice of salt or Tajin.
- Add ice to your glass.
- Pour the tequila & Cointreau into the glass.
- Evenly pour the watermelon mixture into the glasses. Stir well.
- Add a watermelon slice & sprig of mint as garnish.
If you want a smoother drink, strain the watermelon mixture before pouring into your glass.
