I’m such a creature of habit when I find something that works for me. You probably know this by now after reading about my nighttime routine and my eyelash routine, just to name a few. So it’s not surprising that I have a cooking routine, right? I used to struggle with cooking–primarily because it didn’t interest me and I was lazy–but once I started taking an interest in the food I was consuming it was only natural to start cooking at home. I will admit, it can be a total pain, especially if you cook every single day. My husband and I usually cook 4 times a week, order in one night, and typically have 1 or 2 meals out, so I’m not completely overwhelmed with cooking each night.
It’s taken me a while, but now I enjoy the cooking process. I always pour myself a glass of wine, play some music, Snapchat along the way, and discuss the day with my husband. Some of you have noticed that I play a pretty eclectic mix of music while I cook. Some days I’m feeling high energy and I want an upbeat playlist, other days I want to feel like a housewife from the 1950’s and I’ll play Sinatra, but usually I like a chill blend of songs that sets the dinner mood.
Today I’m going to share my ‘chill vibes’ playlist, which you can also follow on Spotify (find me under Sivan Ayla Richards). Otherwise, below is a list of songs.
