Beauty Products Currently On My Counter
You might recognize some of these products from my Stories, as I’ve shared most of them at some point or another. There’s a handful that have been in rotation for years! Seriously. I personally find it funny that this assortment just looks so pretty together…clearly I have a type when it comes to packaging. Not going to lie, I think it’s what drew me in in the first place. I saw a strikingly cute bottle, tried it out, loved it, and now I have a counter full of blush-toned products that have impeccable branding but also work wonders. Not to be confused though, I do have a drawer full of products not pictured that I use daily, too. However, they might just not be as aesthetically pleasing as these ones. I hate to discriminate but I do appreciate a good logo!
I’ve decided to break down these products after sharing this image on my Instagram and getting requests for the full rundown. I know there’s a lot, but I am the type of person who realllllly loves beauty products and would rather splurge on beauty over fashion any day. Things I look for in a product (aside from good packaging lol) is effectiveness, hydration, and as many natural ingredients as possible. I know the power of retinol (I used it once per week before pregnant) but there is something even more gratifying about using effective products that are natural. Aka, not full of chemicals that your skin becomes dependent on for life.
Also, I know it’s hard to tell in the photo since there are so many products shown, but it’s not just skincare. I have hair products and self tanners, too. To make it a little easier, I’m outlining the products by category: skincare, hair, body. If you guys are into this, I’m happy to create more posts like this that showcase other products I love. I try SO many products on the reg that I feel almost responsible to report back (even if it’s not a sponsored post, like this one). It’s the least I can do, right?
SKINCARE
Herbivore Pink Cloud. I’m assuming they called this “cloud” because it’s incredibly lightweight. I use this in the AM when my skin needs more than just hyaluronic acid.
Herbivore Orchid Face Oil. Cannot stress enough how much I love face oil. This one is very nice for daytime. I use the Lapis & Pheonix oils at night since they are heavier. The Orchid also smells fab.
Herbivore Brighten Mask. LOVE the consistency of this mask. It’s kind of watery so you really only need a thin layer, which means it will last. It doesn’t need to be left on super long and after I rinse I rub the residue into my skin and it just instantly brightens everything up. I also love the fact that Herbivore is 100% natural.
Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Spray. This was the first Herbivore product I ever tried & was instantly hooked. It’s refreshing and hydrating, which is just the overall point of a spray. I use this on a clean or made-up face, it works either way. Paul loves this too.
Kopari Coconut Oil Cleanser. On light makeup days I love using an oil cleanser. It removes makeup while also hydrating my skin. Since my skin is naturally on the drier side I prefer to use oils on my face as much as possible.
Erno Lazslo Hydra Serum. A new addition to my routine, but I love this serum. I’m a big fan of this brand (use their sheet masks & eye patches, too), so I trust their formulas.
Erno Lazslo Hydra Cleanser. This is a bit more aggressive than my oil cleanser, but on heavy makeup days I need a good, deep cleaning. This gets the job done without leaving my skin super parched, which I can really appreciate.
Hora CBD Serum. All natural ingredients is always a win. CBD can really work wonders for your skin, and I use this serum specifically to zap zits. It can definitely be used all over but I prefer to spot treat with it instead.
Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Cream. I’m really sensitive under my eyes so I go through a lot of trial and error with eye creams. Many of them burn me so when I find one that doesn’t burn AND hydrates the area I know it’s a good one for me. This eye cream is super rich and leaves the under-eye area really supple. I’m also a fan of the PTR rose stem cell mask and eye patches, which I leave in my fridge for the extra cooling effect.
HAIR
Reverie Ever Serum. We all know I’m a huge fan of the Cake serum (for hair growth), but I also love the Ever serum. It keeps my hair looking and feeling really healthy, especially on days I wear it straight and everything shows.
Ouai Volume Spray. I’m new to this concept, but I’m wondering how I’ve lived under a rock for so long?! I mean, I die for volume after all. This spray is light, easy to use, and effective.
Ouai Rose Oil. LOVE. The smell, the color, the formula. It’s not greasy and you can rub the residue on your body, too. When I use hair oil it’s purely on my ends and to tame any weird fried hairs in the front. Just don’t go smearing a ton of oil on your roots…
BODY
Bali Body Bronzing Lotion. So much yes. You know I love Bali Body and this bronzing lotion has been in rotation for years now. I love the fact that it gives color instantly and then you can wash it off at the end of the day. Because the reality is, most self tanning products will eventually start to fade and seep into your “cracks” eventually, so it’s nice to skip over that whole phase and just wash it off.
Herbivore Coco Rose Scrub. Speaking on self tanning. Exfoliation is key before applying self tanners. This scrub preps your skin, sheds dead skin, and leaves your skin feeling incredible. Not gonna lie, sometimes when I have a really good natural tan I avoid exfoliating so I don’t scrub off my tan, but in the winter it’s part of my shower routine since I’m using self tanners on the reg.
Tan Luxe Tan Water. A new product I recently picked up at Sephora. I LOVE the concept of this. It’s a water, so nothing too daunting, and really easy to use. I’m a fan of self tanning sprays since it coats your skin and you really only have to worry about an even application. No streaks or funky marks.
