One good thing to come out of this year is the lack of outfits I’ve needed to shop. Other than a quick staycation and the rare outing, I’m basically living in the same sh*t around the house. I’m sure you are too. Since it’s currently one million degrees in the Valley, I’m all about simple and comfortable AF dresses. If I feel like adding makeup or dressing them up, I can, and if I feel like looking homeless, at least I got dressed.
Here are 5 on current rotation:
This is one of my favorite purchases of the year (yes, I know it’s a splurge but here’s a cheaper version). I wore it on our staycation and basically throw it on at least once a week over my suit or braless.
Paul hates this dress so I love it. Kidding but I’m fully here for the long t-shirt dress trend.
This is a newer dress and I’m into it. Love the thin straps and it reminds me of something Cher would have worn in Clueless. I see this being a staple year-round.
I wasn’t sure if I was going to keep this dress but I’m glad I did. It’s not the most flattering thing in my closet but the comfort levels are next level. I’ve been rolling the sleeves up and pairing with high-top Converse or slides.
Paul’s favorite. I always have at least one tight ribbed dress in rotation and current it’s this $25 option. I can see this styled up with heels and a denim jacket if we ever leave the house.
Here are more basic dresses I’m into and I also linked a bunch of dresses in my Summer Lookbook:
Which is your favorite?
